Recently officials of Chrysler announced that Dodge Viper will be the next generation sports car for the year 2012. Next year July will be the exit from the production line for current Dodge Viper. The fourth generation model will be going out the next year with approximately 500 units and where as the fifth generation model Dodge Viper comes out as 2012 model. All the final 500 units of Dodge Viper units will all be special editions for the year. Now all the dealers know how 2012 Dodge Viper looks, and also they are eager to have a look at the model.

Though officially not been confirmed yet, there are various speculations in the development of the 2012 Dodge Viper regarding the involvement of the new owners in the development of the model. More and more details about the Dodge model 2012 are yet to come out. As per some sources the 2012 Dodge Viper concept resembled the Alfa Romeo, but from most of the sources, the design of this 2012 Dodge Viper model is completely new with aggressive model of the coming years.
Specifications that have come out of this model are the 8.4-liter V10 engine with new technology features. This new engine concept of 2012 Dodge Viper will hit the market of environment friendly vehicles which will give less emission and even gives gas efficiency. Chrysler gave confirmed statements about the next Viper’s expected time that is about 2 years time, but people suspect that, as they are showing it off now, is a clear indication that the work is already in progress. Viper was discontinued in July of 2009 after the shrinkage of Chrysler Group LLC and combined with Fait. The announcement by the designer chief Ralph Gilles that the Dodge Viper could return in 2012 developed the curiosity among the people.
