That's right Nissan lovers, the new Z car will be renamed the 370z from 350z to highlight what is under the hood, a 3.7-liter VQ37VHR V-6 that produces 330hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. That represents a 24hp increase over the 350z's engine.

The engine isn't the only thing that has changed. Nissan has totally redone the exterior and interior with new curves and a slightly more aggressive look. The interior remains true to Nissan's sporty nature with heavily bolstered seats and a cockpit that features gauges pointed towards the driver.

Once we actually look at one in real life, we will be better able to determine the visual impact of the exterior and quality of the new interior. Stay tuned!
