Honda has announced that the base price of the Honda CR-Z Hybrid to be less than $20000 when released on August 24, 2010. A fully loaded Honda CR-Z is said to sticker below $24000 which includes a dash mounted navigation unit. The CR-Z is a compact, 2 seater hybrid with a standard 6 speed manual transmission.

The CR-Z represents the future of lower priced hybrids for the mass market. The HONDA CR-Z will be powered by Honda's 1.5 Liter Engine with Honda's Integrated Motor Assist backing it up. Honda has said that the CR-Z will be good for 122hp and 128lb/ft of torque. The manual transmission on this vehicle is said to return 34mpgs.
