2010 Nissan GT-R to Get Higher Price and More Horsepower

The 2010 Nissan GT-R supercar is getting a price increase for next year. The 2010 Nissan GT-R will have a base price of $81,790 and $84,040 for the premium package. That pricing represents a increase of almost four thousand dollars over the 2009 model.

The price increase for 2010 is the second price increase since the Nissan GT-R went on sale in July of 2008. The base model's price has increased by $10,940 since launch and the premium versions price has increased by $11,140 since launch.

Nissan is launching the 2010 Nissan GT-R on Saturday. The price increases is not without some extra's. The 3.8-liter V6 gets a bump in power from 480 hp to 485hp and other enhancements include a revised suspension, new wheel finishes, and more standard airbags. Nissan also added more rigid brake lines to enhance durability.

The Nissan GT-R gets a retuned suspension for 2010 as well. It will be fitted with re-valved Bilstein shocks with retuned spring and damper rates.
