2010 Mini John Cooper Works Convertible

The Mini Cooper is the quintessential hot hatchback with great performance, utility, and modern style. Now make it a convertible and add the John Cooper Works package. That formula calculates to a great rap top performer.

BMW Owned Mini is revealing the John Cooper Works convertible in March at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. Mini is calling the John Cooper Works Cabriolet as the worlds fastest premium small convertible. The convertible version of the John Cooper Works Mini hits 0-62 MPH in 6.9 seconds and tops out at 146 MPH.

The Engine is the same 1.6 liter turbo four found in the Mini S and when coupled with the John Cooper Works package it tops out at 211 horsepower.

To differentiate it from a normal Mini S convertible, the JCW version gets 17" special alloy wheels with run flat tires, a Works Aerodynamic body kit, and updated large brakes with Brembo calipers.

If you own the aforementioned Mini Cooper or Cooper S, pay attention to this issue and obtain the correct label. "BMW is recalling 205 2010 Mini Cooper and Mini Cooper S cars as a result of wrong tire info might have an effect on the sturdiness of the tires and the stability of the automobile, growing the risk of a accident, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration."
