We have all probably heard about HID or HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE Lighting. That term refers to the newest lighting technology used in many of todays high end vehicles. Instead of the light bulb having a tungsten element that "glows" as current is passed through, Xenon light bulbs are actually filled with xenon gas that burns 3 times as bright. Once a jolt of current hits this xenon GAS, the gas starts burning and shining light. Not only are the lights brighter but they last an average of twice as long as a normal halogen bulb.
